Welcome

Meditation

This is what we are about.
We plant the seeds that one day will grow.
We water seeds already planted, knowing that they hold future promise.
We lay foundations
that will need further development.
We provide yeast that produces effects far beyond our capabilities.

We cannot do everything,
and there is liberation in realising that.
This enables us to do something,
and to do it very well.
It may be incomplete, but it is a beginning,
a step along the way,
An opportunity for the Lord’s grace
to enter and do the rest.
We may never see the end results,
but that is the difference
between the master-builder and the worker.
We are the workers, not master builders;
ministers, not messiahs.
We are prophets of a future not our own.

Slow Dance

Have you ever watched kids on a merry-go-round,
or listened to the rain slapping on the ground?
Ever followed a butterfly’s erratic flight,
or gazed at the sun into the fading night?
You better slow down, don’t dance too fast,
time is short, the music won’t last.

Do you run through each day on the fly,
when you ask, “how are you” do you hear the reply?
When the day is done, do you lie in your bed,
with 600 chores running through your head?
You better slow down, don’t dance too fast,
time is short the music won’t last.

Ever told your child, we’ll do it tomorrow,
and in your haste not see the sorrow?
Ever lost touch, let a friendship die,
‘cause you never had time to call and say Hi?
You better slow down, don’t dance too fast,
time is short the music won’t last.

When you run so fast to get somewhere
you miss half the fun of getting there.
When you worry and hurry through your day,
it’s like an unopened gift…..thrown away.
Life is not a race, do take it slower,

hear the music before the song is over.

Our lives are a preparation for something better to come.  God has a plan for our lives and it will work out, if we try to do God's will. God hasthings planned for us, far beyond what we can imagine now. But we can
prepare ourselves so that we will be ready for the better things to come. Now is the time for discipline and prayer.  The time of expression will comel ater.  Life can be flooded through and through with joy and gladness.  So
we can prepare ourselves for those better things to come.
