Welcome to Ashford & Glenealy Parish Web Site.
This multi purpose site has something for everybody, ranging from parish and local information to invitations to pray and meditate.

We are proud of our parish and our two beautiful churches sited in Ashford and Glenealy. Visitors to County Wicklow and to the parish are invited to view the magnificent stained glass windows in Glenealy Church.
These are part of our national heritage.

Visitors to the site will see that the parish of Ashford and Glenealy is 30 miles from Dublin and straddles the N11, the main East Coast highway. It provides access to some of the most famous tourist spots in County Wicklow, Including Glendalough, Charles Stuart Parnell's Avondale home in Rathdrum and Ashford's Mount Usher Gardens.

Prayer for    today

It is appropriate that we should pause to pray and light a candle, an offering of our lives; a witness to all who pass by that
our Church is a place of prayer.
As years flow into years, Jesus you have stayed close to us and
have been our source of strength in times of change and challenge.
Continue to hold hope and light before us as we move into new 
centuries and walk home to you, our destiny and glory forever.
